• Component Compatibility: The ASD-1R is compatible with receivers having the dock control jack and mini components having the system connector jack.
• Additional Compatibility: The ASD-1R is can also be used with components not having the dock control or system connector jack. In this case the controls on the iPod are used, rather than a remote, and the text information cannot be displayed on a TV.
• Remote Control: The remote control included with your Denon component is used to control your iPod. If you prefer the controls on the iPod can be used instead.
• iPod Photo and Video Playback: The ASD-1R is compatible with iPod photos or video using the included S-video cable.
• Connectors: The ASD-1R Dock has the following connections:
  • Top of Unit: iPod dock connector
  • Back of Unit:
    • Control: 3.5mm (1/8") mini jack for supplied control cable (stereo mini)
    • S-Video Out: S-Video jack to display photos, video, and song info
    • Audio Out: Left and right RCA jacks for supplied RCA audio patch cable
    • DC In (12V/1.2A): Round DC power connector for supplied AC adapter
